The excursion includes a visit to the lava front which in 1992 threatened Zafferana Etnea closely and a nice walk that will allow us to look out from the edge of the Valle del Bove and admire the Etna massif in all its grandeur and majesty. At the end of the itinerary we will continue with a visit to a characteristic lava flow cave and a tasting of honey and typical Sicilian products. After a quick lunch (not included) we will leave in the direction of the famous Alcantara Gorges where it will be possible to admire the spectacular columnar basalt formations and take a refreshing walk inside the canyon.
